Operating Instructions for Rolling Mill

  1. Before starting the rolling mill, lubricate the gear, upper/ lower pinch rollers, otherwise damage might be caused due to the friction between the gear and rollers. Lubricate the rollers hourly, the gear every 8 hours and the reduction gear biannually during the machine operation for maintenance.
  2. Alignment of feeding: before operation, align and straighten materials with a suitable specification on the guide plate. If the rolled product drops out due to the deviation of materials, correct the feeding position on the feed guide plate, swing it to both sides until the rolled product is proper, then secure the screw.
  3. Adjustment of pinch roller: After startup of the rolling mill, push the material into the first group of the pinch roller, note whether the product meets the requirement on the shape when the material are fed to the last 2 groups of pinch rollers, adjust the screw upward or downward to the required position before securing the adjusting screw.
  4. Straightening & leveling: If the product turns put curved or uneven, adjust it on the straightened by first straightening the lower pinch roller onto a parallel with the forming roller, then lowering the upper roller toward the lower until the product can pass through. See whether the rolled material is parallel; If not, adjust the straightening roller vertically to parallel; if there is any horizontal bending, correct this wish in the left/right screws at the exit of the straightened.
  5. Cutting machine: The position clamp of the cutting machine, roller product and set rule shall be placed straightly, correct and secure the set iron according to the length required.
